Chewy chocolate chip cookies

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup granulated sugar (or lesser for a less sweet cookie)
-
¾ cup brown sugar
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
-
1 egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
-
½ tsp baking soda
-
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks/chips
-
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunk/chips
INSTRUCTION:​
1. Mix the butter, sugar and salt together.
​
2. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and mix again.
​
3. Sift in the baking soda and flour then mix again. Use a spatula after using a mixer to gently combine it. DO NOT OVERMIX.
​
4. Add in the chocolate chips mix using the spatula.
​
5. Then freeze for an hour or bake right away at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.
​
** For best results bake for 10-12 minutes if you like slightly under-baked and gooey cookies.
OR
CAKE MIX INGREDIENTS:​

1 box yellow cake mix
-
1/2 cup oil
-
1 cup of chocolate chips
-
2 eggs
-
2 tsp Vanilla extract (or more!)
-
1/4 -1/2 cup chopped walnuts or dry fruits (Optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
​
2. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
​
3. Then scoop the dough into 12-17 cookie scoops and freeze for 1-2 hours OR directly bake in the oven for 10 -15 minutes.
​
4. Let it cool for 15 minutes then enjoy!
Tip 1
Kitchen Tips:
For chewy and gooey cookies bake for 10-12 minutes.
