INGREDIENTS:

1 stick (113grams) unsalted butter (melted)
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
1 tbsp molasses or maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup bread flour or substitute (mentioned below)
1/4 cup 70% dark chocolate
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips
6-9 pieces of any desired chocolate or nuts as a topping (Optional)
1 tablespoon sea salt to sprinkle as a topping (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8*8-inch baking pan. Spray with non-stick spray and align a parchment paper. Keep this aside.
2. Using a spatula thoroughly mix the brown sugar and melted butter in a bowl.
3. Add the egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract and molasses until very well combined.
4. Sift in the salt and flour and stir with a spatula. Then add in the chocolate and mix the batter well.
5. Pour the batter into the baking pan and top with either nuts or chocolate.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 25 minutes until the batter is set and gooey with crackled top.
7. Sprinkle a little sea-salt while hot (optional)
8. Allow the blondies to cool for up to 10 minutes in the pan and 10 more minutes on a cooling rack.
9. Enjoy the chewy gooey blondies with a cup of milk!
